Welcome to our website! Somers Tutoring was founded in January 2018 by Chloe and Ella Kahn. Chloe and Ella are sisters, both raised in Somers, CT. Chloe is a sophomore honors student at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT and Ella is an honors eighth grade student at Mabelle B Avery Middle School in Somers, Connecticut.

Chloe and Ella take their academics seriously and share a love for learning and teaching. Recognizing that school can be challenging, they love to help others and share their passion. One-on-one tutoring can be an important part of learning and can allow someone to reach their full academic potential.

In a busy classroom, many kids can feel lost in the shuffle and may be afraid to ask for that extra help that could be so beneficial. Obtaining tutoring after school with an adult can feel like having more school--something to which kids may be naturally averse! We believe that learning can be fun and that there's tremendous value to tutoring provided by your peers. Chloe specializes in reading, science and math for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Ella works on all skills for elementary school children.

In their free time, Chloe enjoys Lacrosse, soccer, and boating.  Ella is a talented dancer, particularly with contemporary, jazz, and acrobat styles.
